Recruiting a Poolboy

Spencer was the latest poolboy recruit, coming in to be trained just ahead of the warm weather at one of the seasonal locations of Mesmerizer Resorts. He had been in a Ph.D. program, having already obtained his Master’s degree, but like many students, the experiences had left him less and less eager for the working world and instead feeling incredibly burnt out. In searching ways to let go of some of his stress, he had stumbled across Mesmerizer Motivation and found the idea of becoming a FitDimWit instantly appealing. Still, he resisted at first, knowing he’d already accrued significant student loans.

That is until he saw an ad looking for new poolboys. He initially scoffed at the thought, but his curiosity seemed to get the better of him as he clicked on the link to watch an informational video about the opportunity. As he viewed it, he found himself opening up more and more to the idea that this might be something he actually did want deep down. Even the video said, This is the kind of fantasy you have probably had deep down – a fantasy of living a care-free life while living in a place of luxury. But what really made it seem like it could be more than a fantasy for him is the part that mentioned having room and board included. Even if it wasn’t as high of a salary as he could expect in his field, it was a salary that could go almost exclusively to paying off his loans – and then just to him.

Spencer submitted an application with photos included, and soon he had received a response that he was in contention for a spot at the resorts. The message included a handful of audio tracks and spirals to listen to and watch, with titles like “Poolboy Muscle” and “Poolboy Mindset” helping to mold both his physique and his subconscious – more than he even knew.

He had still been attending classes at first, but they simply started to feel harder and harder. “This so isn’t worth it anymore.” He started to hit the gym for additional sessions instead during the day, while he found himself on the apps more at night. You knew you could never live up to their expectations anyway, but here you are free to just simply be yourself. There’s no need to think about it.

There’s no real need to think at all. Now that you here, all you really need to think about is how good it feels when you please others.
